Erosion problems near water don't wait. Every heavy rain moves more soil, undercuts more ground, and puts structures at risk. That's exactly what was happening here - a hillside next to a private bridge was washing out, and it was only going to get worse without a real fix.

We brought in our excavator and a load of massive boulders to tackle it right. The approach was straightforward but requires the right equipment and know-how - place heavy stone along the creek bank in a way that redirects water energy and holds the hillside in place. No half-measures. These boulders aren't going anywhere.

What you end up with is a stacked stone bank that locks the soil in place and keeps the bridge footing protected. The layered boulder wall on both sides of the crossing creates a solid buffer between the water flow and the surrounding yard. It's built to handle high water without giving ground.

This is the kind of drainage and excavation work that actually solves the problem instead of buying time. When you've got a creek, a slope, or a low spot that keeps causing trouble after every storm, a properly executed boulder installation changes the equation completely. The yard holds. The structure stays protected. The customer stops worrying every time the rain picks up.
